This is the capping top for your STS DTF 1628D & 724 Capping station, otherwise known as your maintenance station. Sometimes it's easier to change this part as opposed to the entire capping station as this is the part that is exposed to ink and air.
When Replacing this part, pay particular attention to how the used part comes off so you can assemble it properly.
