RJ900 Drafstation Flushing Support - DF-48554

This flushing support sponge is the original Mutoh part DF-48554 for Mutoh RJ-900 Drafstation printers. During flushing, the printhead fires ink into this sponge, which absorbs it so ink does not pool inside the printer or splash back onto the head. The sponge measures 5 cm long, 3.1 cm wide and 0.2 cm thick.

Replace it when it is saturated, crusted with dried ink, or no longer absorbs, as part of routine maintenance. A clogged flushing sponge is a common cause of ink drips and head contamination.
